SEPTEMBER 1 — Welcome To A New Month Of Possibilities

This month’s message:
God loves you, is for you, wants you to be well. If you  are
ill or carrying a burden for another who is, pray believing that
this very month He will bring  about a change for the better.

Today’s passage:
“. . . One day is with the Lord as a thousand
years, and a thousand years as one day.”
(II Peter 3:8)

Today’s prayer:
“Another summer has floated by
on that voiceless stream of years . . .
I kissed the wet lips of April,
Held close the violets of May,
Was fanned by feathery June breezes,
And slept warm in July arms all day

But September signals a parting
Ripe seeds break from their stalks
Green leaves learn they are mortal
Languid days shorten their walks

Another summer has floated by
on that voiceless stream of years . . .
And dear God, it was wonderful.”
